At the risk of stirring a stagnant pot, I'll just say that I see a level of complacency creeping in where many previous innovations have been born. Not that light, nor fast, nor efficient isn't worthy of serious attention, but that true innovation (in basic construct) seems to be waning. I've been a member of many clubs and while I truly appreciate their work and contribution to my bottom-line, I often see recycled code flying out the door at the beginning of each month to satisfy club members. I'm still waiting to see css implementations that blow the doors off collapsing modules and something that transcends the floating box model or 3 column layout.

RT Afterburner Speed vs. friendly User GUI ?!? I was very excited about the new RT Afterburner template... but i am getting strange results in article editing mode. Some investigations show: The System.CSS and General.CSS files are not loaded???!?!! Is this a feature or a bug? Lacks it those files due to filesize and loading performance? How did they achieve this? I need the well-known GUI in edit mode... and the editor xtend buttons! I can

Well you made the worlds fastest template and you made the worlds easiest configuration template. Now get something in the between. We want the worlds most bloated template. Yes. But with a twist. Like Rockettheme says they they give features that can easily be turned off. But still most templates have a lot of scripts loading in each page. How about a template that does only whats its asked to do. Like if you mootools is not needed then it should not be loaded. Only the css that is needed should be loaded for each page. rather than 3 bloated css files. I know I cannot describe this in one word. Cause its complicated. I hope it does not end up being the worlds complicated template :-P. Basically something that can be have all the features turned off making it the fastest template. And also something that will only load "required" css/javascript and code for each page.
