Guysmiley, I am shocked as well. However I think the issue is on the approval process. I submitted a site about a month ago and it still isn't listed...

Hey all, Don't take this the wrong way - I really thought I had a great question (above) and I'm not trying to annoy anyone :-) Isn't this deserving of more attention? With all the 'professional' Joomla developers out there, why is the 6 week-old Community Joomla showcase so small? Isn't this cheap SEO (it's PR is 8)? Are people afraid to list their sites for fear of hacking?

Thanks for the comments guys. You're right about the underlining, I also hear bolding your target keywords is a trick - but I haven't seen any evidence of this. I noticed the showcase is not using "nofollow". Community.joomla.org has a PR of 8, which may end up trickling down to the sites who get listed.

Great post. Of course, sites with high page rank linking to you is critical for high PR. Question: Why is the month-old Community Joomla showcase so small? Isn't this cheap SEO? Are people afraid to list their sites for fear of hacking? Steve, I know alledia runs some big sites - are you listing yours in the new JC?
