Hi Red - we're on the other side of the country here, but yes - the plan if this goes well is to expand to the west coast early next year. As this is a relatively new venture, we rolling out these classes, getting feedback and then later thinking about February / March next year.

Hi Ogy Funny! My first job after arriving in the U.S was as a teacher ... of U.S. history and government. I scrambled to study every night and keep one step ahead of the students :-) You're right - learning Joomla fully is long-term. This kind of class is really for people willing to do quite bit of learning themselves but needing a kick-start.

Don't worry Steve. You know so much more about Joomla than them. If you make a mistake, they won't even notice :-) Right. Well, it takes some time just to hire and train 2-3 employees to professionally develop in Joomla. I don't even want to start talking about training "regular people". Also, as much as we all enjoy Joomla, we need to think about our ROI. Steve, in any case, I think this training will help you a lot more in establishing the credibility of your business a lot further. Good Luck! Ogy

Hey Steve: It will be a great success. Too bad you already "did" Chicago. Maybe I can convince my wife to let me out for a day or two and I can actually figure out what I am doing wrong. Thanks Joe Michelotti ;-)

Yeah I agree with Stephen, training is really needed - and with training events like this around the US, Joomla will hopefully become better understood and more used. Great work Steve.
