Are there any other really useful plugins that I've missed? Comments (16)

Good list Steve! I thought of doing a similar post last week but didn't get round to it! The only one you missed off is the Google PR toolbar!
Just a note by the way, if you do go ahead and install all of these plugins your browser will slow down quite a bit!!!

YSlow is a nother useful tool. Its similar to the net feature on firebug and helps you pick up any scripts or elements that are slowing page load down.

I have a couple to add.
LinkChecker 0.6.2 Check the validity of links on any webpage Bookmarks Link Checker 0.6.8.4 I also like a tool that is not browser dependent but does a great job of showing exactly where and what the broken link is. It cost a penny per page, The down side is it is slow on large sites. some sites can take more than a day or two to process but when it does the report shows the page with the 400, 403, 404, 504, and 904 codes flagged on the page for easy identification and correction.

I'll second (or third) the addition of YSlow. It love how it breaks down size by component. I know you can see this in firebug, but YSlow has been a great addition when I'm trying to do some speed optimization.

As a SEO specialist i personally use this tool and i also recommend this to others as it has many useful features too but the plug ins that is being discussed here are not alive right now. In spite of all these the firefox is an excellent software to use.

I'm sure most of you have heard the trick question for webdesigners: "which browser do you use?".

Firebug http://www.getfirebug.com/releases/
It enables you to make live changes to any code on a page and witness the results instantly.
Great for tweaking things a few pixels left and right, or to check for bugs.
