I did some research and in April alone there were Joomla events in Norway, Canada, South Africa, the Netherlands, France and Spain. If you'd like to attend one near you, here's a list of currently planned events for 2008:

I think I've heard about one in UK last year...

I'd be up for a UK one. I'd say London would be the best bet but then again, that's where I live so I would say that.

If Australia can do Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay and Brisbane and South Africa can do Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, theres no reason the U.K. can't do a few

Chicago's JoomlaEXPO on May 16th hit our goal of 200 attendees. We just added another 50 seats. Steve's putting on training, and a few other very talented Joomla pro's. We figured people would come from 30-50 miles to our all-day JoomlaEXPO in the midwest US, but folks are coming from all over the world. Needless to say, we're pleased.

I've been in the Mambo and Joomla world for several years now without going to a Joomla event. Now I'm headed to two within the next six weeks (Chicago and Vancouver) and every time I look at
