For about an hour this morning, some poor staffer at the BBC posted an unedited photo of England cricket captain Michael Vaughan. The photo was so large that it made a complete mess of the BBC's frontpage. 3000 pixels high and 2158 pixels wide? Woops, should have been 66x49...

The image was so big that the frontpage was pretty much unusable while it was posted. Check out the original photo and the correct one.

Ouch. I've messed up a few times and learned lessons on how to correct things without badly messing up a live site. Thank goodness I don't work on the BBC website!
